Be sure to check out the popular steeple-chasing piglets at the Teneriffe Festival. Always a huge hit with fans who watch up to nine cute 'Babe' look-a-likes slog it out across 5 heats. Racing piglets streak around a 45 metre track at approximately 30 km/h - jumping through hurdles and lighting up the faces of hundreds of children. With their curly-tailed stars leaping over two-foot-tall ramps in the races, organisers say the piglets are enticed by the thrill of the competition - and the tasty snack they’re rewarded with at the end.
The five races are part of the better-than-ever Accombris Stadium, so join in the fun, cheer on a piglet and scream all the way home!
