What's on

The event program is kaleidoscopic in its diversity, from historical to contemporary; from folk music through to punk rock; health and fitness through to cheese, champagne and oysters...We strive to create a one-day event that really does have something for everyone – regardless of age or tastes. The Festival attracts approximately 50,000 people, all keen to wander the riverside streets and hidden laneways, discovering our carefully curated programme of entertainment and street acts, local restaurants and food vendors, market stalls and displays, a glorious Kids Zone and dozens of community groups.

Getting there

Plenty of public transport is available to get to the Festival, so leave your car at home and catch a bus, CityCat or ferry. CityCycle stations are also available in several nearby locations.

Ride Neuron

Neuron Mobility will have 2 designated parking stations for e-scooters and e-bikes at Gate 1 and 2. Those opting for this safe and convenient way to travel can get $5 off their ride - just enter TF22 on the Neuron app.

In the Brisbane Central Traffic Area you can park for a maximum of two hours on unsigned streets unless there are parking meters or signs showing otherwise. However, street parking is extremely limited within the inner city suburbs on most days. Therefore, we strongly advise not to drive to the Teneriffe Festival and instead take advantage of public transport or Yellow Cab services.

The road closures will be enforced from 12 midnight on Friday 27th May through to 12 midnight on Saturday 28th May and parking restrictions will occur from 10pm on Friday 27th May. Local traffic detours will be in place where necessary, combining signage and assistance from traffic control personnel.

13 cabs will have a designated 13CabsZone near gate 1 at Commercial Road

Please read our detailed notes (on the FAQ Page) for residents within the Festival precinct.
